Father arrested for 'abusing daughter for years' on Spain’s Costa del Sol

POLICE on Spain’s Costa del Sol have arrested a man accused of sexually abusing his own daughter.

He allegedly abused his daughter, now a teen, from the age of eight.

The man was arrested earlier this week in Torremolinos after the girl was taken to the hospital by her paternal aunt.

The teen then told hospital staff that she had been abused by her father and doctors quickly reported her allegations to the police.

Her father, who has a previous police record for various crimes, is now in police custody.

The daughter has been placed in the temporary care of her aunt.
