A MAN has been arrested after allegedly killing four family dogs and burying them near his home in a revenge attack against his wife.
The incident took place in Telde in the Canary Islands, where the suspect attacked the animals, before burying them on nearby land.Â

In her statement, she also described a pattern of aggressive behaviour towards the pets.
Authorities passed the complaint on to the Policia Nacional and later to SEPRONA, the Nature Protection Service.
Investigators believe a serious animal abuse offence took place, stating that at least four dogs were killed using a blunt object.
The remains of the dogs were recovered during searches carried out as part of the operation.
Authorities confirmed that the suspect is now detained and is facing allegations of animal abuse as well as offences linked to domestic violence.
The case has now been passed to the relevant court. Further legal proceedings will follow.
