A 19-YEAR-OLD motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after colliding with a car on a Marbella road on Tuesday afternoon.
The crash took place at around 5pm on Avenida Bulevar Principe Alfonso de Hohenlohe, along the famous Golden Mile road, close to the Marbella Club entrance.
Local police and paramedics rushed to the scene after receiving reports of the collision.
The young man reportedly suffered injuries on his arm, leg, and back – though he was conscious as emergency services transported him to Costa del Sol Hospital for further treatment.
No further details have been released about the incident.

The crash comes weeks after concerns were raised over road safety on the Golden Mile, where local politicians have called for tougher measures to curb dangerous driving on the busy Marbella road.
In May, far-right Vox called on Marbella town hall to take measures against reckless driving, proposing illuminated signage and painting double solid red lines along the town’s roads as possible solutions.
“We need to incorporate more striking visual elements that can immediately alert drivers,” a Vox spokesperson said at the time.
“We cannot normalise images of vehicles crossing multiple lanes or making illegal U-turns in one of Marbella’s busiest areas,” they added.
The Golden Mile is one of Marbella’s roads that handles the most traffic each year, particularly during peak season.
