THREE firefighters have been injured while battling a persistent wildfire that scorched 300 hectares of woodland in eastern Spain, authorities have said.

The wildfire was brought under control on Tuesday after more than 300 firefighters spent three days battling the flames.
Several properties, a hotel and a wedding party of around 20 Italian visitors were evacuated as the fire spread, although authorities did not provide a total figure for the number of people forced to leave their homes.
Officials said on Tuesday that evacuees would be allowed to return home from Wednesday onwards.
The incident comes after a deadly wildfire in AndalucĆaās AlmerĆa province killed 13 people, scorched 7,000 hectares of countryside and forced more than 1,500 residents to evacuate.
The blaze is believed to have been caused by a fallen power line that ignited dry vegetation near the town of Los Gallardos on Thursday.
Five British nationals were among those confirmed dead after attempting to flee what one survivor described as a āwall of flameā.
The remaining confirmed victims included three Belgians, one French citizen and one Spanish national, while a further three people are still awaiting official identification.
All of the victims were adults.
