A BRITISH fugitive described by authorities as ‘dangerous’ and how was about to be placed on the UK’s Most Wanted list has been arrested in Alicante province.
The 27-year-old man was detained by the Policia Nacional on an International Arrest warrant issued by Britain.
He was been accused of drug trafficking and using firearms.

If convicted of the offences, he could face a life prison sentence.
The Policia Nacional cooperated with British authorities to locate him in Algorfa- some 20 kilometres inland from Torrevieja- which has a significant British expat community.
The police said he was poised to make his debut on the UK’s list of Most Wanted offenders and was considered a prime target.
The International Arrest Warrant was issued in June and the fugitive was part of an organised gang that in 2023 and 2024 distributed cocaine, cannabis and heroin between 2023 and 2024.
The man is even alleged to have committed further crimes while he was released on probation.
Given his propensity to violence, the Policia Nacional drew up a special operation to execute his arrest.
After several days of investigation, they located his address in Algorfa and arrested him close by without the Brit offering any resistance.
His name has not been revealed by authorities.
The man has handed over to the custody of the National Court in Madrid for his extradition to be processed.
