Briton arrested in Benalmadena for Tenerife brawl death

A BRITISH man has been arrested in Benalmadena on suspicion of the murder of a man in Tenerife.

Beverley Parkinson, 38, is accused of killing the man during a brawl outside a nightclub in 2001, which left several people injured.

Malaga police said Parkinson had been arrested at the time of the incident, but released four days before a man died in hospital.

An arrest warrant for Parkinson was then issued by Spanish authorities, in 2004.
