Going up in the world in Mijas record attempt

MIJAS was the setting for an aviation milestone and world record – the first ever remote-controlled human flight, claim the organisers.

Achieved by two model helicopters lifting a grown-up person – it took four months of planning, many thousands of euros, huge logistics and countless test flights to achieve the feat.
