MADONNA fans are up in arms after being forced to stump up a staggering 106 euros a ticket for the only Spanish date on her world tour in June.
A number of disgruntled fans have posted complaints on forums after tickets for the Barcelona show went on sale.
One fan, Nek, wrote to forum All About Madonna.com saying: โI think these prices are too expensive for many people.โ
Madonna, 53, will play the cityโs Palau Sant Jordi stadium on June 20 โ with the superstar said to be taking around 90 per cent of the ticket sale cost herself.
โThe question is definitely whether ticket prices are too high,โ said Gary Bongiovanni from ticket vending website Pollstar.
โSales were brisk for the first few days and then they tapered off,โ admitted a source close to the tour.

Being ‘forced’ to buy?
Tickets for Madonna in Ireland range from โฌ54 to โฌ141 according to the Irishtime.com in February. When questioned about the price of the tickets Madonnas response was reported as โPeople spend $300 on crazy things all the time, things like handbagsโ, she told Newsweek. โWork all year, scrape the money together, and come to my show. Iโm worth it.โ
People will stump up their hard won cash to see that “Good Thing”! The mind boggles.
My early entry Gold Circle ticket for Hyde Park was over ยฃ250 so were some of my other tickets. Other venues I have were around ยฃ135. Why the variation I don’t know but Barcelona sounds cheap!! Madonna is worth every penny. We knew the tour was coming! My advice is as soon as this tour ends start saving for the next!!!
