POLICE have arrested three Brits for distributing laughing gas in Marbella.

All three were selling the product as part of their job in an up-market nightclub, when police took them into custody.

Customers were charged € 5 for a balloon of laughing gas (nitrous oxide) the effects of which would last for three minutes.

Police have said that in some cases the inhaling of the product can lead to loss of consciousness, damage to the nervous system and death.
