Toys are taking over the playroom at CAC Malaga

IT was a case of the toys taking over the playroom as a series of giant wooden children’s figurines took over a Malaga art gallery.

The display is part of iconic American artist KAWS’s first exhibition outside the US.

The ‘Final Days’ exhibition at CAC Malaga, which will run until June 22, features five enormous sculptures of popular culture icons, such as ‘Pinocchio’.

KAWS, aka Brian Donnelly, studied Fine Art at The School of Visual Arts in New York, and now lives and works in Brooklyn.
