Barcelona and Madrid have Spain’s top seven sought-after property districts

BARCELONA and Madrid are dominating the property popularity tables as much as La Liga.

The most sought-after property districts have been unveiled and all of the top seven are split across those two cities.

L’Eixample in Barcelona is Spain’s most sought-after area when buying a home, according to agent Fotocasa.

Just behind is central Madrid, followed by Salamanca (Madrid), Sant Martí (Barcelona), Chamberí (Madrid), Sants-Montjuïc (Barcelona) and Ciudad Lineal (Madrid).
