Spanish obesity to be tackled by two new weight-loss treatments

obese-mans-bellyMILLIONS of obese Spaniards could be going from flab to fab with the help of two new weight-loss medicines.

Liraglitude and Naitrexona-Bupropion are going to be available from 2016 and can lead to at least a 5% drop in weight.

The six-month treatments aim to help the three million Spaniards – 27% of the population – who are clinically obese.
