BREAKING: Reports of gunshots and ‘two dead’ as police chase driver who ploughed through crowds in Barcelona

Some 100 people were injured in the attacks

A MANHUNT is underway to track down the driver of a van who ploughed through crowds of people in Barcelona in the last hour.

Several people have been injured after the white van knocked down crowds of people in the popular tourist area of Las Ramblas.

There have been unconfirmed reports of gunshots in the area.

At least two are thought to have been killed but this has yet to be confirmed.

Witnesses at the scene have been posting photos and videos from the scene.

Ambulances can be seen rushing past to help the victims.

All metro systems have been shut down.
