SPANISH PM Mariano Rajoy is visiting 10 Downing Street today for talks with British PM Theresa May and expects the next stage to Brexit negotiations to be imminent.
“I am absolutely convinced that, as soon as possible, we will get into the second phase of Brexit negotiations,” Rajoy said in a meeting with May in London.
May failed to secure a deal on Monday to open talks on post-Brexit free trade with the EU after DUP leader Arlene Foster withdrew her support, upending May’s slim majority in Parliament.
