Spain registers 12,423 COVID-19 cases Thursday and 126 deaths

Breaking

SPAIN registered 12,423 COVID-19 cases by PCR and anitgen rapid tests on Thursday.

Of these, 5,585 are from tests taken in the past 24 hours while 3,152 – almost a quarter – correspond to Madrid.

Meanwhile there have been 126 deaths due to coronavirus over the same period.

Over the past seven days the virus has caused 421 deaths nationwide.

It brings the total death toll since the pandemic began in Spain to 32,688.

This figure does not include nursing home deaths or people who died with symptoms of coronavirus but were not tested.
