THE Olive Press is today launching its WhatsApp channel, making it even easier to stay informed about everything happening in Spain. 

By following a few simple steps, you will be able to receive the latest updates as they are sent directly to your phone. 

Using your phone or tablet device, click on this link here to sign up to the channel. 

Click ‘follow’ in the top right corner, and then click on the bell that appears to enable notifications. 

Channels in WhatsApp appear under the ‘updates’ tab, which is on the bottom left of the menu bar for iPhone users, while for Android devices it is found in the middle at the top of the screen. 

If you do not have the ‘updates’ tab, make sure you have downloaded the latest version of WhatsApp.

Only the Olive Press can write messages into the chat. 

Your privacy is protected as no one else can see who is on the chat, nor their names or phone numbers. 

Laurence Dollimore

Laurence Dollimore is a Spanish-speaking, NCTJ-trained journalist with almost a decade’s worth of experience.
The London native has a BA in International Relations from the University of Leeds and and an MA in the same subject from Queen Mary University London.
