FOUR drunk passengers were removed from a plane on Saturday after assaulting a Ryanair flight attendant en route from Dublin to Ibiza.
The plane left the Irish capital at 9.40am and was diverted to Mallorca’s Palma airport shortly after 1.00pm.
A Ryanair spokesperson said the captain decided on an early landing after a ‘small group of passengers started an onboard disturbance’.

“The crew asked for help from the police who removed the passengers before the plane resumed its journey and finally landed in Ibiza,” the spokesperson added.
Witnesses said that Guardia Civil officers frog-marched the four men off the plane.
Reports suggest that they were not formally arrested and the nature of the assault has not been disclosed.
It’s believed the group had been drinking alcohol before boarding the plane in Dublin and refused to follow orders from the cabin crew.
They are likely to face fines for breaching air security rules.
