ROCK legend Lenny Kravitz wowed his adoring fans on the Costa del Sol on Monday night with a spectacular hit-filled concert in Marbella.

The American musician, 62, brought the capacity crowd at the Starlite Occident festival site to their feet with a two-hour-long gig filled to the brim with fan favourite tunes including It Ain’t Over ‘Til It’s Over, Are You Gonna Go My Way and Bring It On.

Kravitz, who has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide, even spoke to the crowd in Spanish, saying: “I’m so happy to be here. It’s a blessing for us all to be together today. This is another day to love, forgive and live.”

The show marked Kravitz’s first performance on the Costa del Sol in over a decade as the Grammy Award-winning superstar continues a jam-packed tour of Europe’s summer festival circuit.

Last week, Kravitz performed at the Iberdrola Music Festival in Madrid and heads to Sevilla next, with a performance at Iconica Sevilla Fest in the city’s iconic Plaza de Espana pencilled in for Wednesday evening.

That will be his last concert in Spain this summer, with future gigs planned for France, Germany, the Netherlands and several other European countries.

Kravitz first made waves as a singer in the 1990s and became famed for his unique blend of rock, funk, reggae, hard rock, soul and R&B.

He has won several accolades during a glittering career, including the Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance four times in a row between 1999 and 2002.

That achievement broke the record for most wins in that category and set a new record for most consecutive wins in any single category by a male performer.

Kravitz was previously married to American actress Lisa Bonet, with whom he has a daughter, Zoe Kravitz.
