His raucous behaviour took place on the Ryanair service on June 29.
He was said to be highly drunk and behaved inappropriately several times to a stewardess.
She immediately informed the plane’s captain, who in turn contacted the Guardia Civil.
Officers boarded the plane on landing at Palma airport and spoke to the Brit.
He told them that he was having a holiday in Mallorca and would be returning to the UK on a Ryanair flight on Tuesday(July 7).
The unruly man was not arrested immediately because the flight attendant was reluctant to file a complaint.
She finally did so, but the Brit had already left the airport by that time.
He was arrested on Tuesday- the day he was scheduled to fly back to Stansted.
The man was brought before a judge who granted him bail.
