UBER has refused a request from the Olive Press to release details in the case of tragic Nikoline.
The global taxi giant claimed ‘confidentiality reasons’ for refusing to share more details surrounding the mystery death of the teenager on the Costa del Sol earlier this month.
Nikoline Piwoni Hoie was killed in a tragic hit and run incident soon after 5am on July 5.
She had left a nightclub in nearby Marbella at around 4am with two mystery men, and got into an Uber.

Yet it wasn’t until around 5.20am, that the 17-year-old demanded that the Uber stop, near Mijas, on the A-7 motorway.
The drive from the Funky Buddha nightclub in Puerto Banus to where she was killed is normally only around 10 to 15 minutes .
Investigators, in particular, want to know what happened in that mystery hour.
What did the Uber driver see? And why did he stop the vehicle in the middle of the motorway to let her out?
Yet today an Uber spokesman told The Olive Press that the firm will not provide any information due to confidentiality reasons.
Despite this a statement read that the company was ‘deeply sorry for this tragic accident’ and it ‘expresses condolences’ to the victim’s relatives.
Uber added it is ‘collaborating with the authorities to investigate this case’.

Owner of Marbella entertainment group La Sala, Ian Radford, told the Olive Press this week: “The authorities must know much more than they are letting on.
“Why did she leave the club? I immediately felt it was an abduction, and I really hope they get to the bottom of it soon.
“I’m sure the Uber driver will be key to the investigation. This is every parent’s nightmare.”

The latest update was that of the release of a Spanish suspect, who had allegedly been seen cleaning his van with bleach the day after the incident.
CCTV footage from a neighbour’s house showed that the van had stayed parked until around 7am, making it impossible for the accused 46-year-old Spanish man to be the culprit.
Nikoline had gone with friends to Puerto Banus to celebrate the World Cup Victory of Norway over Brazil.
She was staying on holiday in Fuengirola, with her mother and stepfather.
Policia Local sources told The Olive Press that she left the pub with ‘two young men in an Uber’, but there have been no details as to who those men were.
Police have been speculating that she might have wanted to cross the road to reach an underground pedestrian tunnel, or maybe to wait at the taxi stop that can be found near that road.
