THREE bodies were found yesterday at different between Estepona and Manilva beaches, none of them carrying their ID.
The local authority’s first hypothesis is that they were migrants trying to swim from Morocco to Ceuta, a Spanish exclave on the north African coast.
The first victim was found at around 35km East from Estepona, close to Marbella.
According to Diario Sur, due to the state of the body, the person could have spent weeks in the sea.
The second was also found in Estepona, in a mussel farm. The third body was found in Punta Chullera area, between Sabinillas and Manilva.
The same source indicates that the second victim was between 19 and 20 years old, and the third younger than 30.

Diario Sur also reports that two of the victims were wearing wetsuits and flippers.
Ceuta is currently undergoing a surge of migration that it receives from nearby countries, especially Morocco.
Experts have warned that the Mediterranean tides often drag people to the Costa del Sol if they lose orientation or are left exhausted with the sea crossing.
Malaga’s Institute of Legal Medicine are currently performing autopsies in order to determine more conclusions from the incident.Â
