A MOTHER whose two children were killed in a Costa del Sol flat fire has died from severe burns she suffered in the blaze.
The 49-year-old had been fighting for her life in a specialist burns unit in Sevilla since being airlifted there on July 30.
She died on Tuesday at the Virgen del Rocio University Hospital three days after the blaze tore through her home in Arroyo de la Miel, Benalmadena, in Malaga province.
Her death brings the total number of victims to three, after her children, aged 10 and 15, were found dead inside the property by firefighters.
The fire broke out at around 5.40am on July 30 in a flat on Calle Onix, sending emergency crews racing to the scene.

Firefighters from Benalmadena, Mijas and Fuengirola battled the flames, while police and paramedics also rushed to the property.
One firefighter was injured during the operation, while several police officers and emergency workers needed treatment after inhaling smoke.
The cause of the blaze is still being investigated, although initial suspicions point to a mobile phone power bank catching fire.
Investigators believe the flames may have then spread rapidly through the rest of the flat.
The tragedy sent shockwaves through Benalmadena, with the town declaring three days of official mourning following the deaths.
