A BASQUE Country court has heard a claim that a man’s penis size fell by over two-thirds following penile prosthetic surgery.
The patient said that the length of his penis was cut from 14 centimetres to just four centimetres after the procedure but medics said the operation went according to plan.
The El Correo newspaper reported that the regional Supreme Court ratified a lower court award to the man of a severe disability monthly pension of almost €2,800 and backdated to September 2024.

He has endured the worsening of a long-standing spinal cord injury over the last two years.
The ruling also included a reference to his penis issue.
The spinal injury has affected him since childhood, which progressively limited his mobility and independence for daily activities.
Over time, the man has experienced a progressive loss of strength and sensitivity, especially in his upper limbs.
He now needs help for doing the basics like dressing, washing or making a journey.
Spain’s Social Security department had appealed the initial pension award, arguing that his situation pre-dated his entry into work but the Supreme Court rejected the argument.
It was revealed in court testimony that the man was unhappy with the results of a penile prosthetic operation in November 2023.
In a subsequent check-up, he stated that he had lost around half of his penis length after the procedure, but he later increased the estimated loss.
Despite his complaint, medical assessments did not support the 10-centimetre reduction claim.
Specialists verified that the penile prosthesis was correctly placed and that it allowed him to achieve a full erection.
One of the court documents detailing a check up, quoted the patient referring to having ‘a normal-sized penis’.
Doctors also told him that there was the possibility of removing the prosthesis and recommended that he made an appointment with a different urologist to get a second opinion.
