IRISH gangster James Quinn has been linked to a second murder on the Costa del Sol.

Following his arrest for the murder of Gary Hutch, it has been revealed that Quinn is also being investigated for the killing of Gerard ‘Hatchet’ Kavanagh in a broad-daylight shooting in Marbella.

The 34-year-old Kinahan associate remains in police custody, following raids on six properties on the Costa del Sol, including the MGM Marbella gym which has close ties to the Irish clan.

He appeared at Fuengirola court yesterday before being remanded in custody.

Kinahan enforcer Kavanagh, died after being shot nine times by two masked men in Harmon’s Irish Bar in Elviria in 2014.

His brother Paul was also gunned down six months later in Ireland, following a fallout within the Kinahan hierarchy.

And Irish media are now reporting that Irish and Spanish police have long suspected Quinn for the crime.

The murder of Gary Hutch 12 months ago sparked a gangland feud between the Costa del Sol-based Kinahan clan and the Hutch family, headed by notorious crimelord Gerry ‘the Monk’ Hutch.
