Legal resignation in Spain

MALAGA’S law school chief has resigned from its General Council due to a severe backlog in cases in the provincial courts.

The College of Lawyers dean Manuel Camas is furious about the huge delays and lack of funding.

“The Council is trying to create more services even though it has still not adapted to reforms within the profession,” he said.

The president of Barcelona’s college, Peter Yufera, has also resigned.
