A CHESS website received an astonishing quarter of a billion hits over a 10 day period during a recent tournament on the Rock.

The Tradewise Gibraltar Festival 2012 is now in its 10th year, with chess fans keeping up to date on results via gibraltarchesscongress.com.

Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Fabian Picardo, said: “Can the person organising the web presence please contact me so he can help organise my next election campaign.”
