CRISTIANO Ronaldo stunned onlookers with his bizarre reaction to winning last night’s Ballon d’Or trophy.

The Real Madrid forward was crowned the best player in the world for the third time in his career, beating Barcelona’s Lionel Messi to the top gong.

Unable to contain his excitement, Ronaldo let out a ‘ghost-like’ noise as he accepted the award from Frenchman Thierry Henry.

The video quickly went viral with many YouTube enthusiasts uploading joke memes of the Portuguese star.
