Spain spends €9 billion in oil imports from Nigeria

rubbermarketnews_RMN_brent_crude_oil_050SPAIN spent a whopping €9.3 billion on crude oil imports from Nigeria in 2014.

The Spanish Ambassador to Nigeria labelled Spain as Nigeria’s ‘best client’ and confirmed that the two countries will be working on agricultural development projects.

Despite mass protests, the Spanish government is hoping to reduce the amount of oil it imports by continuing oil exploration off the Balearic islands.
