WATCH: Soot-covered ‘minor’ pulled from chimney by firefighters after getting stuck during failed burglary attempt in Spain’s Andalucia

Chimney Rescue

THIS is the moment a young man was pulled from a chimney following a botched burglary attempt earlier today.

Granada firefighters were forced to rescue the alleged thief, believed to be a minor, from the chimney pipe of a house in Albaicin.

Policia Local tweeted the moment he was pulled from the chimney.

“It’s not Christmas and it’s not Father Christmas,” they wrote, “but he has entered through the chimney of a house in Albaicin to rob.

“Leaving has not been so easy.”

The young man is under arrest but has been taken to hospital for treatment, according to police.
