AFTER a one-year prob the police brought down one of the biggest hashish traffic networks in the area down, resulting in the arrest of 27 people of Spanish and Moroccan nationality.
Police uncovered the wide-scale hashish operation in Andalucia after finding the drugs hidden in the compartment of trucks.
The gang planted the drugs in the vehicles, in small compartments at the base.
The rest of the trailers were filled up with ordinary merchandise to avoid suspicion.
As part of the operation, the vehicles were loaded up in Sevilla, before the trucks moved to Algeciras, then Gibraltar, before finally Morocco.
