SPANISH police have arrested a driver over an alleged hit-and-run that killed a 31-year-old motorcyclist in Marbella.
Sources told SUR that the driver fled the scene after the fatal collision, which happened at 6.45am on Monday morning. After being arrested, the suspect allegedly tested positive for drugs.
The victim of the crash in the Lomas de Rio Verde, a residential area near Marbella, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

The death comes amid a string of fatal road accidents on the Costa del Sol, following the death earlier this month of 17-year-old Norwegian tourist Nikoline Piwoni Hoie in Mijas, who was killed in a suspected hit-and-run.
Police initially made an arrest last week, but the suspect was later cleared after investigators determined he was not responsible.
The tragedy also follows the deaths of three Irish tourists in a crash near Malaga late last month, when their vehicle plunged into a ravine after the driver lost control.
Investigators later found that the passengers had not been wearing seatbelts.
