Revealed: Spain’s most expensive streets – where homes go for €15 million and the Costa del Sol takes three of top 10

THE latest rankings of Spain’s most exclusive residential streets is out and while it makes for striking reading, it may not come as much of a surprise.

The listing is dominated by the Balearics, Madrid and the Costa del Sol, with no other region getting a look in.

Homes on streets in all three territories have now broken into triple in digits, with Mallorca taking the crown.

That top spot belongs to Cami des Salinar in the municipality of Andratx, an exclusive enclave in the south west of the island.

Property sellers on the country’s most expensive road are demanding an average asking price of €15 million, according to a new study by property portal Idealista.

Madrid takes second place with Paseo de los Lagos in the gated La Finca development in Pozuelo de Alarcon, where homes average €11 million.

The Costa del Sol claims the third spot with the Coto Zagaleta estate in Benahavis, the hillside country club where asking prices average €10.5 million.

Malaga province features twice more in the national top 10, with Calle Osa Menor in Marbella ranking seventh at €7.85 million and the gated Cascada de Camojan urbanisation taking tenth place at €6.395 million.

The Balearic capital claims two further spots in the ranking, with Palma’s Carrer Mossa reaching €9.8 million and Carrer Binicaubell averaging €7.9 million.

Madrid fills the remaining positions with Paseo del Conde de los Gaitanes in La Moraleja at €8.9 million, while Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset in the city centre tied at €6.95 million.

The data highlights a massive wealth divide across the country, with the most expensive street in the cheapest region, in Castilla-La Mancha, averaging just €335,000.

Idealista calculated the ranking using absolute average asking prices for all property types advertised on the same street, requiring a minimum number of listings to avoid skewing the figures.
