A GIANT multi-purpose sports centre in Sabinillas is nearing completion and is set to open its doors to the public this March.
Branded as the ‘Sport City’ (Ciudad Deportiva), the centre will include an indoor swimming pool, a multi-purpose sports hall, versatile rooms, changing rooms as well as a reception area for the whole complex.
There will also be a gym, tracks usable for several different sports and parking space will be provided as well.
Some key work still needs to be done before the complex is fit for use but upon completion it is expected to be one of the best in Andalucia.
fantastic news!! Although as I understood it, the pool is not included in opening plans for March, but if that gas changed then even better news!!!

Does anyone know when the pool area will be ready in the new sports complex in Sabinillas?
I have a pool in my apt area but it’s not heated!We plan to come over for Christmas and New Year.
