Just in time for peak oil!
Celebrating the opening of an airport extension is akin to celebrating the further destruction of the environment. Aeroplanes are amazing things, but cause massive pollution. One day we will realise this.
“The airport will be able to handle 9000 passengers an hour, double its current capacity, when the second runway is built next year. It will have an automatic system capable of handling 7500 suitcases an hour, 86 check-in desks, 20 boarding gates as well as new shops and restaurants.”
IMPRESSIVE – but where are the PASSENGERS to use it?
Even the new airport at Jerez, up the road, just closed due to lack of passengers & hence airline service.
your name may be BoS but you have no clue what going on in Andalucia …..
I agree that Malaga Airport has surpassed a tad bit Napolionic dimensions
