Charitable event in Gibraltar

SOME of Gib’s more energetic residents will be doing their bit for charity by competing in a swimathon and bikeathon.

Organisers are hoping to raise £60,000 towards a specialist doctor and refurbishment at the Lady Williams Cancer Support Centre.

The event takes place at the Atlantic Suites Health Club and Spa on September 3, and includes a BBQ and live music.

The less energetic will have the chance to do their bit by taking part in an evening auction.
