EXPAT Marcus Patterson is doing remarkably well in his bid to raise money for charity by growing a moustache.
The Swansea lad, now living in San Pedro, has raised 433 euros so far by sprouting what we’re sure you’ll agree is a mighty attractive set of whiskers (see photo).
Movember – a combination of ‘moustache’ and ‘November’ – sees participants growing facial hair to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer.
“In Spain it’s not a big thing yet,” said Marcus, 34.
“My friend Salva recently nearly died from testicular cancer. He has just come out of Malaga Hospital. He lost a testicle, but somehow he has beaten it.”
