Drunk British woman arrested after driving into Guardia Civil vehicle

A BRITISH woman has been arrested after driving into a Guardia Civil patrol car while drunk.

The patrol vehicle was waiting at a traffic light in Alicante when the 45-year-old rammed her vehicle into the back of it.

The woman, who appeared drunk, was given a breath test and found to be five times over the limit, with 1.35 mg of alcohol per litre of air exhaled.

The legal limit in Spain is 0.25 mg.
