A 10-YEAR-OLD boy who lost both his feet in a road accident could be walking again within six months after undergoing pioneering surgery in Granada.

The only thing youngster David has been left with is reduced ankle movement, despite suffering what surgeons described as โ€˜catastrophicโ€™ injuries.

The six-and-a-half-hour procedure to reattach the limbs was carried out by Dr Pedro Cavadas, known as the โ€˜miracleโ€™ doctor, with the boy declaring that he โ€˜wants to be like Cavadasโ€™.
