Mallorca-bound flight evacuated over passengers’ ‘terrorist’ fears

PASSENGERS prevented a Mallorca-bound plane from taking off after overhearing a ‘suspicious’ conversation about a possible terrorist on board.

The German flight from Cologne-Bonn airport to Palma was evacuated after two passengers refused to fly, according to local media reports.

Following the evacuation, a search was made of the plane, although nothing suspicious was found.

The remaining passengers refused to carry on with the flight last Friday evening, which was cancelled.
