THE British woman accused of running over her love rival in Magaluf is the younger sister of a ‘machete wielding’ drug kingpin.
Kemi Coaker, 29, of Manchester, is related to John Pereira, 34, a British expat serving over five years in Mallorca on drugs charges.
He was jailed in 2014 after being caught with cocaine worth £9,000 at his Magaluf property.
Allegedly, he tried to resist arrest at the time by brandishing a machete at police.
The pair are believed to be close, with a source stating that Coaker ‘visits him every week’ in jail.
Once Pereira finishes his sentence here, he will be returned to the UK to face the authorities there after being accused of breaching the previous terms of his prison license conditions.
He has convictions in the UK for drugs offences and is also wanted in connection with an assault in Warrington.
Coaker is said to have driven onto the pavement in her car in an attempt to hit bar worker Meghan Tattersall, 23.
Tattersall is believed to be dating her now ex-husband, Andy Coaker, 39.
“The Civil Guard has arrested a woman aged 29 as the suspected author of a crime of attempted homicide,” a police statement read.
“Witnesses said a car had run her over before speeding away from the scene.
“One of the witnesses said the car had mounted the pavement intent on running over the woman.”
