THIS is the moment a Costa Blanca hospital witnessed water gushing up through their toilets and sinks.
Subscribe to Olive Press TVA nurse at the Hospital Vega Baja Orihuela posted the scenes around 9pm on Thursday night as the region was hit by an estimated 250 l/m² in just two hours.
The nurse, MV Almudena, said: “We’re soaked.”
It comes as the Costa Blanca was battered by a ‘red alert’ gota fría storm that began in the early hours of Thursday morning, according to Spain’s Met Office (AEMET).
