A SEXUAL abuser, alleged killer and a man who allegedly leaned on a network of fellow British criminals to stay hidden. John Rocks, the Scottish fugitive arrested in Madrid earlier this month, has been the centre of attention since his dramatic discovery by Spanish authorities.
Rocks, 37, spent four years dodging justice in Spain. But it’s what he left behind in Scotland — and what he’s alleged to have done since — that’s made him one of the most disturbing names on the UK’s most wanted list.
Police Scotland want Rocks over eight alleged sexual assaults committed between August 2012 and October 2022, mostly in the UK, plus repeated alleged beatings of women in his life — several of them former partners.
Officers have described the alleged conduct as of “special gravity” involving several different victims, some of whom were in relationships with him at the time.
The full list of charges is not yet known.
While he was already on Police Scotland’s radar, Rocks found time to allegedly attack another woman — this time in Benidorm. On 7 October 2022 he’s accused of violently assaulting Lana Wolf, an OnlyFans model whom he briefly dated.
“Ladies please avoid Jon Rocks AKA Scottish Jon who works on Benidorm strip.” Nancy wrote on social media, as she shared photos of her police report.
He left me black and blue with broken ribs after locking me in an apartment, taking my passport and phone off me and continuously strangling me, punching and kicking me, biting me and throwing me violently around on the walls.”
“Please please please avoid this man, he is going to end up killing someone else some day, he nearly killed me and 2 other woman that I know of so far.”
Rocks was arrested at the time — but with no international warrant yet in force, the case went through a Spanish fast-track trial. Despite the severity of the allegations, he walked away with a €400 fine and 150 days of community service.

Wolfe said Rocks could no longer return to the UK over allegations of sexual abuse involving a 16-year-old girl.
She also said she had been told that he had served 8 years in prison over a killing in Scotland.
It wasn’t until February 2026 that Police Scotland issued an international arrest warrant, making him the most wanted Brit abroad.
But Spanish police don’t believe Rocks survived four years on the run alone. He was allegedly sheltered by fellow British criminals around Benidorm, drifting between other offenders’ flats, tents, and properties used as drug dens rather than ever renting in his own name.
He left no bank trail whatsoever.
Investigators say they identified third parties who may have been helping him stay hidden — giving him cover, a roof over his head, and possibly an income in the drug trade.
Police sources told Spanish outlet ABC they believe Rocks may have been dealing drugs to get by while living off-grid, though that is yet to result in formal trafficking charges.
Rocks remains in custody in Madrid while Spanish judges weigh up his extradition to the UK under the post-Brexit EU–UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement.
