‘Discussion’ in bar ends in shoot out

ONE man was shot in the leg last Wednesday and another detained by police after a late night “discussion” in a bar in Ambroz ended in a shoot-out.

The neighbourhood of Ambroz in Vegas del Genil just outside of Granada city has a population of around 600 people. The Plaza de la Cruz in the town was the setting for the dramatic scenes at around 10pm on Wednesday night.

Reports suggest a dispute between two families from Ambroz lead to the gun battle, local police are investigating the details.
