ROAMING charges could soon be a thing of the past… as a ‘super-app’ has been launched to stop holidaymakers from forking out on their travels.

Combining the best features from existing phone apps WhatsApp, Skype, Viber and Facebook a UK based technology company has come up with the answer.

The app, SkipRoaming, is available as a free download on the Apple store as well as on Android devices.

  1. I’ve been using for the past 8 months to receive calls on my own phone number anywhere in the world without paying any roaming bills. When I call out my friends know it’s me since they use my regular caller ID.

  2. another point here is to you John re You Roam, this service needs data and wifi, Skiproaming on research has all options gsm, data, wifi. So if you are travelling and the data is turned off and you have no wifi the app is useless. Skiproaming has all angles covered with a 4th option of callback service as well. they seem to have every angle covered. I also earned some credit for recommending to a friend and they have this skip to skip free calls service also which is call each other for free anywhere in the world for $1 per month unlimited. I love this service and best i have seen on the market so far.
