Ferry rescues illegal immigrants

A GROUP of 44 immigrants attempting to enter Spain on an inflatable boat were picked up by a ferry 40 miles off the Granada coast.

The boat, carrying 44 Sub-Saharan immigrants, including two pregnant women and two babies, were taken to Melilla port on Wednesday night.

The group were moved to Motril on Thursday, before being sent home.
