TARIFA exploded into colour last weekend when the town held its first ‘Festival of Colors’.
The event was held to support the Fundación Vicente Ferrer’s work in India and copied the style of a traditional ‘Holi Festival’ in India where participants throw brightly coloured dust at each other.
Over 1000 people turned up at Las Lances beach on Sunday, and, at a pre-arranged signal, the multi-coloured mayhem began!

I would have LOVED to see this, but who knew it was on? I am always seeing events that I would have loved to attend ~ after the event.
