Sweet Moscatel wine from Axarquia bodega is China’s favourite

WINE lovers in China have given their stamp of approval to a family bodega in the Axarquia which also supplies its award-winning Moscatel in Germany, Belgium and Switzerland.

Malaga is the biggest exporter of sweet wine worldwide, but the 90-year-old Bodegas Dimobe is the most in demand brand in China’s booming market.

One of the Dimobe brothers, Juan Munoz, said: “China has realised that we produce the best Moscatel in the whole world and have guaranteed their alliance with us for the future.

“The Chinese market knows exactly what it wants and appreciates our wines as they are unique.”
