Spain’s building activity on the up and paying its builders better

Construction WorkerTHE construction industry is booming once again in Spain.

While workers are earning 4% more than they did in 2010, building activity also rose by 13% year-on-year in February.

The huge jump spells great news for the recovering economy given the Eurozone’s overall construction sector fell by 1.1% year-on-year in the same month.

Meanwhile, Spanish Builders are better paid now than they were five years ago, reveals Adecco, averaging a monthly salary of €1,630 compared to €1,565.
