A CAMPAIGN to allow graffiti has been ignited in Algeciras.

The youth wing of La Voz de Algeciras party wants the town’s government to designate public areas where young people can express their artistic talents.

They believe that by doing so, the town could eradicate the current problem of unauthorised graffiti in some areas.

Cristian García, president of the party’s youth wing, said that the “government must acknowledge the importance of the growing graffiti movement in the town and sustain young, future artists.”
