HOSPITAL staff caught stealing food at work have been fined by a Mallorca court.
The three workers were discovered pilfering from Son Espases in August 2015, with the case only arriving in court this month.
One employee was caught on CCTV removing a painting from a skip before he and two others went to the hospital kitchen, filling bin bags with food and placing them in his car.
A subsequent inventory revealed meat, chicken, olive oil and dairy products were missing from the kitchen.
All three were fined €120, with the man handing back the stolen painting canvas in court.
